NOTICE OF ELECTION ON TAX LEVY

IN EXCESS OF THE TEN-MILL LIMITATION

OLMSTED FALLS CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT

 

Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of Resolutions of the Board of Education of the Olmsted Falls City School District, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, adopted on November 13, 2008, and November 19, 2008, there will be submitted to the electors of the School District at an election to be held in that School District at the regular places of voting therein, on Tuesday, February 3, 2009, the question of levying an additional tax in excess of the ten-mill limitation for the benefit of the School District for the purpose of current expenses at a rate not exceeding 9.9 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to 99 cents for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a continuing period time.  Said tax constitutes an additional 9.9 mill levy.  If a majority of the voters voting thereon vote in favor thereof, that levy will be first placed on the tax list and duplicate in December 2009 for first collection in calendar year 2010.

The polls for said election will open at 6:30 a.m. and will remain open until 7:30 p.m. of said day.
